DCCC Launches Mobile Billboard Campaign Targeting Ryan Mackenzie Over His Cruel Cuts to Food Assistance

DCCC mobile billboard calls out Mackenzie for taking food off the plates of Pennsylvanians

Today, the DCCC is launching a new mobile billboard campaign holding vulnerable Republican Ryan Mackenzie accountable for his cruel cuts to food aid that has led to more than 210,000 Pennsylvanians – nearly 60,000 of them children – losing critical nutrition assistance as rising grocery costs continue to be a driving source of the affordability challenges facing everyday Americans.

Mackenzie proudly voted for the so-called Big Beautiful Bill, which included a cut of $187 billion to nutrition assistance.

This billboard campaign comes ahead of the anniversary of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) on August 31.

DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Lehigh Valley families are struggling to keep up with sky-high grocery costs because of Ryan Mackenzie’s broken promises, and the DCCC is holding him accountable for his betrayal. Instead of lowering prices, Mackenzie voted for massive cuts to nutrition assistance that are taking food off the table for Pennsylvanians – just so he could fund tax breaks for his billionaire donors.”
