DCCC Launches Spanish Language Ad Campaign Exposing Vulnerable Republicans’ Weakness Against QAnon

6-Figure Ad Campaign Now Running in Spanish in CA-21, CA-25, FL-27
Expands on $600,000+ TV and digital campaign running in 8 districts

Today, DCCC Chair Sean Patrick Maloney announced the DCCC launched its first six-figure Spanish language ad buy of the 2022 election cycle. The Spanish language ads running in CA-21, CA-25, and FL-27 expand on the DCCC’s initial ad campaign that is now exposing 8 vulnerable Washington Republicans and Minority Leader McCarthy for being too weak to stand up to President Trump and the QAnon mob.

The 30-second, individualized Spanish language ads make it clear that Representatives Valadao, Garcia, and Salazar “stood with Q, not you.” The ads are running on Spanish and English language TV in both Fresno and Bakersfield in CA-21, and are targeted to Spanish language audiences online in CA-25 and FL-27.

Similar spots played last week across key local broadcast and cable stations in Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia, Omaha, as well as to targeted audiences online. Additionally, ads exposing Minority Leader McCarthy ran on Washington, DC cable.

This historically early investment from the DCCC comes as Washington Republicans continue to show they are too weak to stop the QAnon mob’s takeover of their party. Individualized versions of the ads specifically spotlight the clearest examples of that takeover.

“Washington Republicans have made their choice – they chose to cave to the murderous QAnon mob that has taken over their party,” said DCCC Chair Sean Patrick Maloney. “Washington Republicans are trying to have it both ways – refusing to hold those responsible for the attack on the Capitol accountable, offering nothing but empty words after years of hyping up lies and conspiracy theories. Voters understand the danger of conspiracy theorists and violent white supremacists, but instead of rejecting the extremism in their party, Republicans have welcomed them in. There is no middle ground, but Washington Republicans’ actions have made one thing clear — no American will be safe from the QAnon mob if Washington Republicans are in power.”

While Washington Republicans may not recognize the threat the QAnon mob poses to our country, the American people do. New polling conducted on behalf of the DCCC by ALG and GBAO shows that QAnon holds a 68% name ID among voters in battleground districts, with an overwhelming negative perception: 5% favorable, 63% unfavorable. With more than 21 months to go before the election, and Lauren Boebert and Marjorie Taylor Greene as the most prominent faces of their caucus, voters’ familiarity with QAnon will only grow, while Republicans in Washington carry the mark.
