The DCCC has placed a new op-ed in La Opinión from Senior Advisor for Latino Engagement Mariafernanda Zacarias making the case to Latino voters that Democrats are the ones fighting for freedom and a woman’s right to choose.
Abortion is a top 5 issue for Latinos heading into the midterms, and the idea of having freedoms ripped away by Republicans in Congress energizes Latino voters. The DCCC recently rolled out bilingual ads targeting Latinos in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, New Mexico, and Nevada highlighting the importance of electing Democrats to protect reproductive freedom.
The op-ed draws contrast with Republicans, who, if given power, will institute a national abortion ban, ripping away a private choice between a woman and her family and instead putting it into the hands of MAGA Republicans in Washington.
