Today, the DCCC announced it raised $29.3 million in the second quarter of 2023, including $12.5 million in June, thanks to the leadership of Leader Hakeem Jeffries and the entire House Democratic Caucus.
“In the wake of fresh attacks on abortion access, renewed efforts to defund federal law enforcement, and the continued chaos and discord in Congress – all at the expense of delivering real results for everyday families, it’s more important than ever that Democrats retake the Majority in 2024. Thanks to the tireless work from Leader Hakeem Jeffries and our unified Caucus, this fundraising period makes clear we are on our path to the majority,” said DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene. “Voters are tired of House Republicans’ obsession with pushing a dangerous MAGA agenda, and the DCCC will continue our work to hold them accountable for their extremism.”
The total raised by the DCCC this year represents the most the Committee has ever raised in an off-year presidential cycle. The DCCC now has $35.2 million cash-on-hand – $3.4 million more than the NRCC – with no debt.
