DCCC Raises More Than $12.2 Million in October, Sets New Off-Year Best

Improving on October 2017 by $4.5 million

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee announced today that it raised over $12.2 million in October, making this the best off-year October in its history and improving on October of 2017 by $4.5 million.

The DCCC’s October report is anchored by strong support from the DCCC’s grassroots donors who gave $6.3 million total, including donations online, through the mail, and over the phone. The DCCC’s average online contribution in October was a small dollar donation of $17.

“Democrats are delivering on the priorities of the American people as they work to bring down the cost of health care, fight to make prescription drugs more affordable, and stand up for the rule of law,” DCCC Chairwoman Cheri Bustos said. “We know how high the stakes are, and from our grassroots support it is clear that folks across this country agree that a Democratically controlled House of Representatives is the only firewall against the recklessness of President Trump’s Washington. We are working overtime to protect and expand this House Majority, and we will not give an inch.”

The DCCC has outraised the NRCC in three straight quarters and nine straight months of 2019: $89.06 million in comparison to the NRCC’s $60.35 million, bringing the DCCC’s total fundraising advantage over the NRCC to $28.7 million, through Q3. The NRCC has not released their October fundraising.
