In yet another sign of growing voter enthusiasm, the DCCC reported raising $15.5 million in August. The strong haul was boosted by $10 million in grassroots support, with the average grassroots donor chipping in $32.
As Election Day nears, continued strong fundraising performances, major special election wins in New York and Alaska, and strong polling favoring House Democrats shows that voters are eager to reject MAGA Republicans who want to rip away freedoms, and re-elect a Democratic Majority that will fight for their pocketbooks, children, futures, and freedoms.
“For months, we have seen voters express their favor for Democratic leadership and strong grassroots fundraising like this reinforces what we already know,” said DCCC Chairman Sean Patrick Maloney. “Voters want a Congress that seeks to address the challenges everyday folks are facing, not a MAGA cult that ignores the everyday struggles and is instead fixated on doing Donald Trump’s bidding and further stripping women of their reproductive freedoms.”
The DCCC headed into September debt free with $110.6 million COH.
