“Don’t Answer” and “Can’t Trust Nancy Mace” begin running today across the South Carolina Lowcountry, highlighting the high cost of Mace’s reckless plans
“Can’t Trust Nancy Mace” will run on Charleston cable serving Black voters
Today, the DCCC released two new television ads in South Carolina’s 1st Congressional District, laying out why voters in the Lowcountry can’t afford to trust State Representative Nancy Mace.
“Don’t Answer” showcases how Lowcountry voters can’t afford to trust Mace and her support for a 23 percent tax increase on nearly everything we buy via the so-called “Fair Tax”– a reckless scheme to raise costs on seniors and working families. (Click here to watch Mace say it at a public debate.) Also in the spotlight is Mace’s support for privatizing Social Security and a reckless tax plan that adds trillions to the national debt. The ad will reach voters in the Charleston and Savannah-Beaufort media markets on broadcast and cable starting Tuesday.
“Can’t Trust Nancy Mace” exposes the many reasons why voters in the Lowcountry can’t trust politician Nancy Mace, from her plans to risk retirement security programs to jeopardizing access to health care and protections for people with pre-existing conditions amid a pandemic. The ad will reach voters in the Charleston media market as part of a Black-focused cable buy.

“Lowcountry seniors and families should hold onto their wallets whenever Nancy Mace is around, because Mace has reckless plans that risk their Social Security, raise their taxes and increase the cost of health care,” DCCC spokesman Avery Jaffe said. “A vote for politician Nancy Mace is a risky investment for the Lowcountry: she supports repealing protections for people with pre-existing conditions and is all-in for a tax scheme that would add trillions to the national debt. That’s why folks across the Lowcountry can’t afford to trust her.”
