The DCCC released a new TV ad in the race for Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District, “Four Years Ago,” highlighting how Coastal Virginians are worse off today and paying more for everything from gas to groceries after four years of Congresswoman Jen Kiggans’ failed policies in Washington.
The ad uses audio of former President Ronald Reagan, who once asked: “Are you better off than you were four years ago?” The ad features headlines and images showing how prices have soared because of Kiggans, who has voted with Trump 100% of the time this Congress.
The ad – the third to run in VA-02 from the DCCC and the Luria campaign – is airing in the Hampton Roads and Virginia Beach media markets beginning this week and is part of the committee’s coordinated spending in key battleground districts.
Transcript:

Is it easier for you to go and buy things in the stores than it was four years ago?
Do you feel that our security is as safe, that we’re as strong as we were four years ago?
If you don’t think that this course that we’ve been on for the last four years is what you would like to see us follow for the next 4,
Then I would suggest another choice that you have.
