The DCCC released its first coordinated TV ad in the race for Pennsylvania’s 1st Congressional District, “A Lot Has Changed,” highlighting how much Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick has changed after nearly a decade in Washington.
In the ad, the narrator notes that Fitzpatrick is now a multi-millionaire whose net worth has increased by 300 percent. Meanwhile, Fitzpatrick’s constituents are paying the price for his votes to gut health care, raise prices, and fund reckless wars.
The ad – the first to run in PA-01 from the DCCC and the Harvie campaign – is airing in the Philadelphia media market beginning today and is part of the committee’s coordinated spending in key battleground districts.
This is the first cycle since 2020 that the DCCC has made an investment on TV in PA-01.
DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Nearly a decade in Washington has changed Brian Fitzpatrick. He profits while his constituents pay the price for his votes. Congress has changed Fitzpatrick – now it’s time for Bucks and Montgomery County voters to change who they send to Congress.”
Transcript:
VO: A lot’s changed in ten years.
Hard to find anyone who feels better off.
Except for Brian Fitzpatrick.
After ten years in Congress, Brian’s worth three hundred percent more.
He’s a multi-millionaire, like the rest of them.
Votes like ‘em too.
Siding with Trump to block the Epstein files,
gut health care,
raise prices,
and fund reckless wars.
Fitzpatrick sold out.
It cost him his integrity,
But it cost us a lot more.
Bob Harvie: I’m Bob Harvie, and I approve this message.
