DCCC Releases First Coordinated TV Ad in PA-10: “Hamburger”

The DCCC released a new TV ad in the race for Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District, “Hamburger,” highlighting how Central Pennsylvanians are paying more because of Congressman Scott Perry.

In the ad, Janelle Stelson talks about how Perry’s policies in Washington are raising prices for his constituents while ordering a burger. Thanks to Perry’s support for reckless tariffs, the price of ground beef has skyrocketed. Now, Perry supports a national sales tax that would send the cost of a burger soaring even higher.

The ad – the first to run in PA-10 from the DCCC and the Stelson campaign  – is airing in the Harrisburg media market beginning today and is part of the committee’s coordinated spending in key battleground districts.

Transcript:

Janelle: Who doesn’t love a good burger?

Well thanks to Congressman Perry’s tariffs,

it’s now more expensive than ever,

with ground beef up to $7.29 a pound.

That’s more than somebody makes working at the minimum wage for an hour.

Now Scott Perry supports a new national sales tax

that would make everything way more expensive:

burgers, fries, pie…

I’m Janelle Stelson.

I approve this message because everybody deserves lower prices,

and a good burger.
