The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee today released its first Independent Expenditure television advertisement targeting Congressman Michael Grimm (NY-11) who was arrested earlier this year and indicted on federal fraud charges. Congressman Grimm is accused of wire fraud, mail fraud, and conspiracy to defraud the United States among other charges. Before his 20 count federal indictment, Congressman Grimm threatened a local reporter on camera at the State of the Union Address. The ad begins running on New York City cable today.
