The DCCC released a new TV ad in the race for New York’s 19th Congressional District, “Really,” highlighting how vulnerable New York Republican Marc Molinaro has repeatedly voted to restrict Upstate New York women’s abortion rights, despite trying to mislead voters about his extreme anti-choice record.
In Congress, Molinaro has voted 13 times to restrict women’s reproductive freedoms, including punishing doctors for performing abortions. In the midst of facing a tough re-election, Molinaro is now running on a platform that would ban abortion with no exceptions for rape or incest – even in New York.
The ad – the first to run in New York’s 19th Congressional District from the DCCC IE – is airing in Binghamton, Albany, and New York City beginning today and is part of the committee’s previously announced investments in key battleground districts.
