Today, the DCCC released a new TV ad in the race for PA-08, “Join,” featuring Dave, a local construction worker who has been paying into Social Security and Medicare with every paycheck and is holding Rob Bresnahan accountable for being a threat to seniors’ hard-earned benefits.
On the campaign trail, Bresnahan has repeatedly pledged his loyalty to Speaker Mike Johson and embraced an extreme agenda that would reward the ultra-wealthy while raising costs for working-class northeastern Pennsylvanians.
One of the focal points of this disastrous far-right plan is cutting Social Security, privatizing Medicare, and raising the retirement age.
The ad – the first to run in PA-08 from the DCCC IE – is airing in the Wilkes-Barre media market beginning today and is part of the committee’s previously announced investments in key battleground districts.
