The DCCC released a new TV ad in the race for Tennessee’s 5th Congressional District, “Shows Up,” highlighting how Columbia Mayor Chaz Molder always shows up for his community.
The ad features Tennesseans talking about how Chaz has passed balanced budgets without raising taxes and will fight against a broken Washington, while his opponent Charlie Hatcher has failed to show up time and again.
The ad – the first to run in TN-05 from the DCCC and the Chaz Molder campaign – is airing in the Memphis media market beginning today and is part of the committee’s coordinated spending in key battleground districts.
The ad is backed by a nearly six-figure spend and comes as public polling shows a single digit race between Molder and Hatcher.
