DCCC Releases New TV Ad – ‘Busy Guy’ – Exposing John Katko As a Rubber Stamp for John Boehner and Congressional Republicans

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is launching its first television advertisement in New York’s 24th Congressional district, exposing John Katko as a rubber stamp for John Boehner and Republican leaders in Congress. The new ad, “Busy Guy,” highlights John Katko’s record opposing a woman’s right to choose, and pushing an agenda that would deny women access to birth control. The ad begins running on broadcast and cable television in the district today.

Script of DCCC Ad “Busy Guy”

Narrator:

Lately, John Katko’s been a busy guy.

Busy being a rubber stamp for John Boehner and Republican leaders in Congress.

On abortion, Katko sides with them, opposing a woman’s right to choose.

And Katko would even allow employers to deny coverage for common forms of birth control.

He said denying women access to contraception is the “right decision.”

John Katko.  A rubber stamp who doesn’t share our values.
