DCCC Releases New TV Ad in AL-02: “Running on Empty”

The DCCC released a new TV ad in the race for AL-02, “Running on Empty,” highlighting how Rhett Marques has a record of making everything more expensive, including gas prices.

The ad hits Marques for running up Alabama families’ tax bills while refusing to pay his own taxes: Marques has voted to raise taxes 22 times and voted for a 67% increase in gas and diesel taxes, but failed to pay his own.

The ad – the fourth to run in AL-02 from the DCCC and the Shomari Figures campaign  – is airing in the Montgomery, Columbus, and Dothan media markets beginning today and is part of the committee’s coordinated spending in key battleground districts.
