| The DCCC released a new TV ad in the race for Arizona’s First District, “Protecting,” highlighting Dr. Amish Shah’s proven public safety record and his support from three Arizona law enforcement groups that have endorsed him over his Republican opponent.
As a state legislator, Shah bucked his own party and was the only Democrat to vote to crack down on fentanyl trafficking. He also championed legislation to fund the police, fund border security and drug task forces, and better support the families of fallen police officers.
The ad – the second running in AZ-01 from the DCCC and Amish for Arizona – is airing in the Phoenix media market beginning today and is part of the committee’s coordinated spending in key battleground districts.
