DCCC Releases New TV Ad in CA-13: “Betrayed”

The DCCC released a new TV ad in the race for CA-13 in English and Spanish, “Betrayed/Historial,” exposing John Duarte’s betrayal of local farmers.

Court records reveal John Duarte knowingly sold crops to local farmers that spread disease and cost farmers millions of dollars worth of damages. What’s worse? Instead of compensating farmers for the harm and ruin he created, Duarte instead dumped nearly half a million dollars into his own campaign. If Duarte betrayed Valley farmers as a businessman, how can Valley families trust Duarte as their Congressman?

The ads – the first to run in CA-13 from the DCCC IE – are airing in English in the Sacramento media market and in both English and Spanish in the Fresno media market beginning today as part of the committee’s previously announced investments in key battleground districts.
