DCCC Releases New TV Ad in IA-03: “Done”

The DCCC released a new TV ad in the race for IA-03, “Done,” highlighting Zach Nunn’s record of putting Social Security and Medicare on the chopping block — 25 times.

Zach Nunn is part of a DC group that wants to raise the retirement age, slash Social Security benefits, and force Iowans to pay more for Medicare. Nunn has even voted 25 times to block legislation that would protect Social Security and Medicare.

The ad – the third to run in IA-03 from the DCCC IE – is airing in Des Moines beginning today and is part of the committee’s previously announced investments in key battleground districts.

Transcript:

We pay into Social Security and Medicare our entire careers,

So it’s gotta be there when we retire.

Now this guy, Zach Nunn, wants to cut it.

Nunn voted against Social Security and Medicare twenty-five times.

Twenty-five freakin’ times.

Are you kidding me?

Nunn also wants to raise the retirement age,

So we have to work longer before getting our benefits.

Opposing Social Security and Medicare, man I’ll tell you…

I am done with Zach Nunn.
