DCCC Releases New TV Ad in IL-17: “Can’t Trust Her”

The DCCC released a new TV ad in the race for IL-17, “Can’t Trust Her,” highlighting Esther Joy King’s extreme anti-choice position.

“Can’t Trust Her” holds Esther Joy King accountable for her extreme position on abortion using her own words. The spot reminds voters that King celebrated the overturning of Roe v. Wade, called herself “unapologetically pro-life” and supports letting politicians ban abortion without exceptions for rape or incest.  

The ad – the first to run in IL-17 from the DCCC IE – is airing beginning today in media markets across the district.

Let’s see—she celebrated the overturning of Roe v. Wade…

And wants to let states criminalize abortion.

And look at this –

KING TO CAM: “I am unapologetically pro-life.”

Esther Joy King even stands with Republicans who want a national abortion ban with no exceptions for rape or incest.

That would make abortion illegal here in Illinois.

That’s too extreme.

The facts are clear, we can’t trust Esther Joy King.
