The DCCC released a new TV ad in the race for KY-06 , “ Investigations,” highlighting Ralph Alvarado’s record of corruption that has hurt Central Kentuckians.
The ad spotlights how Alvarado served as the medical director for Kentucky nursing homes that faced investigations for awful conditions. Then, Alvarado passed a law while serving in the state senate making it harder to hold those same nursing homes accountable.
The ad – the third to run in KY-06 from the DCCC and the Zach Dembo campaign – is airing in the Lexington media market beginning today and is part of the committee’s coordinated spending in key battleground districts.
Transcript:
Narrator: When Ralph Alvarado was in the State Senate…
He was also the medical director for Kentucky nursing homes.
Investigations show those homes had a scabies outbreak.
Loved ones “drugged up like a zombie.”
And patients left unbathed.
Then, in the Senate, Ralph Alvarado passed a law making it harder to hold those same nursing homes accountable.
He was even implicated in a Medicare fraud scheme.
That’s Alvarado’s record.
And we deserve better.
Dembo: I’m Zach Dembo and I approve this message.
