| The DCCC released a new TV ad in the race for Montana’s First District, “The Hard Part,” highlighting Aaron Flint’s support for gutting Montanans’ health care to pay for tax cuts for billionaires.
Bought and paid for by political insiders, Flint has been a vocal cheerleader for Medicaid cuts that are crippling rural hospitals and kick tens of thousands of Montanans off their insurance. Flint also opposed extending crucial tax credits that lowered health care premiums, leading to higher prices on the health care exchange and tens of thousands of Montanans already dropping their coverage.
The ad – the first to run in MT-01 from the DCCC and Sam for Montana – is airing in the Missoula and Butte media markets beginning today and is part of the committee’s coordinated spending in key battleground districts.
Transcript:
Aaron Flint shrugged.
“There’s going to be some things like Medicaid expansion, et cetera, that fall through the cracks for sure.”
While thousands of Montanans lost health care, and Flint cheered as premiums tripled.
The hard part for Aaron?
“It’s so much harder taking a program away once people have gotten addicted to it.”
Addicted? To health care?
But Flint and his donors profited.
Tax cuts for corporations.
Campaign cash for Aaron.
While we’re left paying the bill.
I’m Sam Forstag, and I approve this message.
