DCCC Releases New TV Ad in NY-17: “Pain”

The DCCC released a new TV ad in the race for New York’s 17th District, “Pain,” slamming Mike Lawler’s record of voting with Donald Trump 100% of the time to raise costs on Hudson Valley families.

Lawler has endorsed Trump’s reckless cost-raising agenda every chance he gets, claiming rising costs from the war in Iran and tariffs he’s repeatedly voted to rubberstamp are “absolutely worth it” and “a little bit of short-term pain.” In return for his undying loyalty, Donald Trump and his MAGA allies have paid for millions in attack ads to support Lapdog Lawler and his flailing campaign.

The ad – the third to run in NY-17 from the DCCC and Cait for New York – is airing in the New York media market beginning today and is part of the committee’s coordinated spending in key battleground districts.

“PAIN”

Transcript:

Mike Lawler once told us that rising prices were “a little bit of short-term pain.”

But that pain you’re feeling at the pump, at the grocery store, and on your utility bill is no accident.

Mike Lawler votes with Trump 100% of the time.

For Trump’s tariffs, for Trump’s war in Iran.

And what does he get in return?

Millions in attack ads from Trump and his MAGA allies.

So when Mike Lawler calls high prices “a little bit of short-term pain…”

Well Mike, it won’t go away until you do.

“I’m Cait Conley and I approve this message.”
