DCCC Releases New TV Ad in PA-08: “My Benefits”

The DCCC released a new TV ad in the race for PA-08, “My Benefits,” highlighting Washington D.C. lobbying executive Jim Bognet’s plan to cut Social Security benefits.

You can’t trust Jim Bognet. He’s a Washington D.C. lobbying executive and political operative who pushed to gut Social Security and Medicare – calling them the “big enchilada” of budget cuts.

The ad is airing in the Wilkes Barre/Scranton media market beginning today and is part of the committee’s previously announced investments in key battleground districts.

Veteran Ken Fletcher: I was in the military, came home, got a job as an insulator. I’m up at four and I’m off to work.

I’ve paid into Medicare and Social Security in every paycheck. We count on those benefits.

But Jim Bognet doesn’t seem to care.

He was an executive in a lobbying firm in Washington.

He pushed for gutting Social Security and Medicare…and he called it the “big enchilada” of budget cuts.

I’ve earned those benefits. We can’t risk Jim Bognet taking them away.
