DCCC Releases New TV Ad in TX-34: “Blind Follower”

The DCCC released a new TV ad in the race for TX-34, “Blind Follower,” highlighting Republican Mayra Flores’s dangerous extremism and why she’s wrong for Texas.

The ad opens with a reminder that the rioters on January 6th built gallows to hang Vice President Mike Pence – and warns that Mayra Flores undermined confidence in our elections and spread dangerous conspiracy theories, squarely aligning herself with former president Donald Trump. She even blamed police officers for the January 6th insurrection attempt that left five police officers dead.

The ad – the second to run in TX-34 from the DCCC IE – is airing in the Harlingen media market beginning today and is part of the committee’s previously announced investments in key battleground districts.
