DCCC Releases New TV Ad in TX-34: “The Real Mayra Flores”

The DCCC released a new TV ad in English and Spanish in the race for TX-34, “The Real Mayra Flores,” highlighting Republican Mayra Flores’s dangerous extremism and why she’s wrong for Texas.

The ad warns Texans that Mayra Flores sided with the harsh Texas abortion ban that would force women to carry the pregnancy of their rapist, making life harder for survivors. It also calls out Mayra Flores for siding with the mob that stormed the Capitol on January 6th, an attack that left five police officers dead.

The ad – the first to run in TX-34 from the DCCC IE – is airing in the Harlingen media market beginning today and is part of the committee’s previously announced investments in key battleground districts.
