The DCCC released two new TV ads in the race for CT-05, “Lowering” and “Restrict” highlighting the choice between Rep. Jahana Hayes and her opponent, extremist-aligned lobbyist George Logan.
“Lowering” highlights Rep. Jahana Hayes’ understanding of what working families in Connecticut are going through. As a mother and teacher, Hayes lived paycheck to paycheck to support her family. In Congress, Hayes has worked with Republicans and Democrats to deliver for Connecticut. She’s fought to lower costs for working families and take on big corporations price-gouging the middle class.
“Restrict” makes clear that a vote for George Logan is a vote to ban abortion. Republicans backing and funding George Logan’s campaign want to pass a nationwide abortion ban. Logan has said that in Washington he’d support their agenda.
The new ads begin airing across the district today and are part of the committee’s previously announced investments in key battleground districts.

It’s why anti-abortion extremists are spending millions to elect George Logan.
Logan said that in Congress he’d vote to further restrict abortion.
And he supports extreme Republican leaders who’ll immediately act to outlaw abortion nationwide, even in cases of rape or to save a woman’s life.
