DCCC Releases Two TV Ads in ME-02: “Freedoms” & “Grinds”

The DCCC released two new TV ads in the race for ME-02, “Freedoms” and “Grinds” highlighting Washington politician Bruce Poliquin’s threat to Mainers.

Freedoms” focuses on Poliquin’s support for an amendment to the U.S. Constitution banning abortion nationwide and allowing states to ban abortion with no exceptions, even in the cases of rape and incest.

Grinds” underscores who Poliquin really works for in Washington. In his career, he’s taken more than half a million dollars from the drug and insurance industries. Now, he opposes a common-sense plan to lower prescription drugs costs for seniors.

The new ads begin airing across the district today and are part of the committee’s previously announced investments in key battleground districts.

Transcript:

She’s been learning about the founding of our country…about “rights” and “freedoms”…

Freedoms that today are under assault.

Politician Bruce Poliquin supported amending the U.S. Constitution to ban abortion.

He even voted for a nationwide ban. Poliquin would allow politicians to stand between women and their doctors.

He supported allowing states to outlaw abortion, even in cases of rape or incest.

We can’t let Bruce Poliquin back in Congress.

Grinds
Transcript:

Washington politicians like Bruce Poliquin concern me.

This guy takes over five hundred thousand dollars from the drug and insurance industries.

And opposed capping the cost for medicine for seniors, he was even against letting Medicare negotiate lower prices.

But Jared Golden voted to cap prescription drug costs for seniors and empowered Medicare to negotiate for lower drug costs.

Mainers need Jared Golden.
