As the President returns to the Central Valley for the first time in over three and a half years, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee [DCCC] has unveiled a new microsite – TrumpValadao2020.com – to remind the voters of CA-21 that former Congressman David Valadao was a full-time champion of the Trump agenda supporting Trump 98% of the time while in Congress.
Last election, Central Valley voters rejected David Valadao because he broke his promise to lower health care costs and protect coverage for 60,000 Californians in his district including those with pre-existing conditions. And when Valadao wasn’t risking the health care coverage of thousands of his constituents, he was voting with President Trump 98% of the time, even voting to line the pockets of drug manufacturers.
“Time and again, Valadao has put his allegiance to President Trump and the Washington Swamp before the hard working people of the Central Valley. Valadao’s actions and long record of blind support for the Trump agenda proves he is too extreme for the Central Valley,” said DCCC Spokesperson, Andy Orellana. “The voters of CA-21 rejected Trump in 2016, Valadao in 2018 and will fully repudiate the Trump-Valadao agenda in 2020.”
