Thanks to fired-up Democratic donors, the DCCC will once again report a record-breaking fundraising quarter, making March and the first quarter of the on-year its largest ever. In the first quarter of 2022, the DCCC raised an impressive $52.4 million – breaking previous DCCC records by almost $9 million – and dwarfing the NRCC’s first quarter numbers by over $11.5 million. Grassroots donors made more than 275,000 contributions in March alone contributing nearly $8.5 million.
Voters see that House Democrats are working tirelessly for the American people, and are ready to protect our Democratic House majority from extremist Republicans who are eager to strip away Americans’ health care, obstruct our economic recovery, and deny Americans’ right to free and fair elections.
“While Putin-curious Republicans continue to fight one another for the title of most extreme, Democrats are working hard to lower prices, help Americans secure good-paying jobs, and strengthen America’s presence on the global stage,” said DCCC Chairman Sean Patrick Maloney. “Voters are donating to Democrats in record force because they trust us to keep fighting for American families. With President Biden and Speaker Pelosi’s leadership, Democrats head into the midterms with strong financial support and trust from the American people.”
The DCCC is charging into the second quarter debt free and with a stocked war chest, with $113.2 million COH.
