DCCC Reports Best May Fundraising Haul Ever

The DCCC’s record breaking haul signals voter disgust with Republicans’ radical plans

The DCCC will report raising $11.8 million in May. At this point in the cycle, the DCCC has raised $32 million more compared to the 2020 cycle, showing voters are fired up six months out from one of the most consequential elections. Thanks to over a quarter million grassroots donors who contributed more than $6.8 million last month, May’s fundraising sets a new record for the election year month.

In May, Democrats worked to lower costs and address challenges Americans face. Republicans spent May doubling down on their plans for a national abortion banendorsing QAnon conspiracy theorists, voting against helping put baby formula on shelves in the midst of a shortage, and downplaying the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol. May’s record breaking fundraising shows voters would rather have a party that delivers solutions than a party that remains hellbent on culture wars and pushing extremist agendas.

“President Biden, Speaker Pelosi, and House Democrats are fighting every day for Americans’ budgets, safety, and freedom,” said DCCC Chairman Sean Patrick Maloney. “The DCCC’s incredible fundraising numbers show voters are repulsed by MAGA Republicans’ extremist plans for America and Republicans will have no one to blame but themselves come November.”

DCCC entered June debt-free with $117.7 million cash on hand, $31 million more than at this point last cycle.
