November’s haul surpasses then-record November 2017 by more than $2 Million
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee announced today that it raised more than $9 million in November, making this the best off-year November in its history and improving on November of 2017 by more than $2 million.
The haul is anchored by more than $5 million in grassroots contributions, including donations online, through the mail and over the phone. The DCCC’s average online contribution in November was a small dollar donation of $17.
The DCCC has now raised $110 million through November 2019 – surpassing its entire 2017 total ($105 million) with more than one month remaining in the year.
“Grassroots donors know what’s at stake in this election, and they are invested in House Democrats’ work to bring down the costs of health care and uphold the rule of law.” DCCC Chairwoman Cheri Bustos said. “As Congressional Republicans continue heading toward the exits, we are working overtime to expand our majority and protect the House’s firewall against the recklessness of President Trump and Washington Republicans.”
The DCCC has outraised the NRCC in three straight quarters and at least ten straight months of 2019: $101 million in comparison to the NRCC’s $70 million, not counting November of 2019. The DCCC has raised nearly $33.3 million online through November. The NRCC has not released their November fundraising.
