| Following reporting that Donald Trump will be host a rally in San Antonio this evening, DCCC spokesperson Madison Andrus released the following statement:
“Republicans’ big idea to save their flailing Texas dummymander is to put Donald Trump front and center. There’s just one problem – his approval numbers are in the toilet all across South Texas because voters blame him and his House Republican lackeys for the higher prices they’re paying at the grocery store, at the gas pump, at the doctor’s office, and at their favorite BBQ restaurant.
“Republicans attempted to subvert the will of voters by hand drawing a district for nepo-baby Carlos De La Cruz…and they’re still losing. Texans are going to send Sheriff’s Deputy Johnny Garcia to Congress this November to fix this mess and make life more affordable.” |
