Today, Iowa is implementing one of the strictest abortion bans in the entire country, banning abortion with ”impractical” and “inadequate” exceptions before most women even know they’re pregnant.
Anti-abortion politicians Zach Nunn and Mariannette Miller-Meeks paved the way for this ban in the state legislature, relentlessly attacking Iowans’ reproductive freedoms and threatening their access to abortion, contraception, and IVF. Nunn voted for an earlier version of this very ban, and both Nunn and Miller-Meeks voted for a constitutional amendment that would eliminate the right to an abortion in Iowa.
Now, Nunn and Miller-Meeks are pushing this extreme agenda in Congress. Miller-Meeks co-sponsored a national abortion ban with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the woman’s life, and Nunn supported a national abortion ban with no exceptions.

Voters will remember their dangerous anti-abortion records and reject them in November.”
