DCCC Statement on JD Vance’s OH-09 Election Eve Rescue Mission to Save Repeated Loser Derek Merrin

The day before Election Day, national Republicans are sending Vice President JD Vance to Toledo to save Derek Merrin as Northwest Ohio voters prepare to reject him for a second time.

Vance joins a growing list of billionaires and Washington power brokers trying to drag Merrin across the finish line, after Elon Musk’s six-figure bailout and repeated visits from Speaker Mike Johnson.
