DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene released the following statement on Jennifer McClellan’s historic victory in the race to represent Virginia’s fourth congressional district:

From safeguarding abortion access, to strengthening workers’ rights, to expanding economic opportunities for all, she has worked tirelessly to ensure every Virginian can thrive. Congresswoman-elect Jennifer McClellan is the first Black woman elected to Congress in Virginia.
