| DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene released the following statement on Kathy Castor’s victory in Florida’s 14th Congressional District:
“Congratulations to Congresswoman Kathy Castor on her resounding victory! Kathy has spent her career delivering for Tampa Bay families, taking on powerful special interests, and putting her community first. From securing critical investments in infrastructure and veterans’ services to expanding health care coverage, standing up to utility monopolies, and fighting to protect Medicaid and Medicare, Kathy has a proven record of getting things done. Republicans tried to gerrymander her out of Congress, but Tampa voters know who has their backs. Kathy’s victory is a testament to her deep roots in the community, her independent leadership, and her unwavering commitment to the people she serves.” |
