The Truth About Nicole’s Lies:

  1. The Justice in Policing Act does not cut funding to the Byrne Memorial JAG program. In fact, the bill includes millions of dollars for the Byrne JAG program and millions more for other police grant programs. And not only that, but Rep. Rose has voted five times to increase funding for the Bryne JAG program.
  2. Rep. Rose, a veteran who fought to protect and defend our nation, has repeatedly stated that he’s against defunding our men and women of law enforcement and successfully fought alongside local officials to ensure the DA’s office was not cut in New York City’s budget cuts.
  3. Rose secured a nearly $100 million increase in Homeland Security funding that NYPD relies on and successfully passed significant increases in law enforcement mental health programs.
  4. Rep. Rose supports New York’s first responders leading the charge to permanently fund the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund, which was signed into law by President Trump Rose’s first year in office.
