| DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin issued the following statement after Paige Cognetti won tonight’s WVIA debate against corrupt Congressman Rob Bresnahan:
“If tonight’s debate was a trial, the jury verdict would be unanimous: Rob Bresnahan is guilty of making himself the poster-child of the D.C. corruption that is costing Northeastern Pennsylvanians. Voters were reminded that Bresnahan broke his promise to clean up Washington and instead made hundreds of stock trades worth millions of dollars while casting votes that have raised prices and slashed health care for his own community. His record is uniquely disqualifying.
“Fortunately, Northeastern Pennsylvanians have a better choice in Paige Cognetti. Paige proved once again tonight that she is willing to take on the machine to do what’s right for the people – and she brought the receipts to prove it.
