DCCC Statement on Randy Niemeyer Running for Congress in IN-01

Randy Niemeyer is entering the race for Indiana’s first congressional district, and one thing is clear: he’s too extreme for Northwest Indiana.

Niemeyer has attacked teachers as “left-wing wacko[s],” praised January 6th rioters, and supported efforts to block access to the ballot box.

Meanwhile, Congressman Mrvan is bringing good-paying jobs to Indiana, lowering the cost of prescription drugs, and protecting reproductive freedom.

“From degrading educators to siding with January 6th insurrectionists, Randy Niemeyer’s extremism couldn’t be more wrong for Northwest Indiana. Congressman Mrvan, on the other hand, has a proven record working to protect reproductive freedom, lower costs, and grow the middle class.”
