DCCC Chair Sean Patrick Maloney released the following statement on Rep. Abigail Spanberger’s re-election in VA-07:
“Abigail Spanberger’s love of country and commitment to the Virginia families she represents is at the center of everything she does. As a federal law enforcement officer, CIA counterterrorism officer, and now member of Congress, Abigail swore an oath to defend and uphold the Constitution — no party boss or special interest can get in her way when she’s fighting for her constituents. The DCCC is proud to have played a role in helping to re-elect Abigail, and we extend a warm congratulations to her on her victory.”
The DCCC invested more than $3.2 million to keep this seat blue and send Rep. Abigail Spanberger back to Congress.
