DCCC Chair Sean Patrick Maloney released the following statement on Rep. Joe Courtney’s re-election in CT-02:
“Congratulations to Congressman Joe Courtney, who has been an independent voice and champion for eastern Connecticut, passing historic legislation to improve infrastructure in the area and increase submarine production in the district. Voters have re-elected Rep. Courtney yet again because he has been a brick wall protecting the rights of CT-02 residents, opposing the repeal of the Affordable Care Act, attempts to privatize Social Security, and radical GOP attempts to strip reproductive rights away from women.”
