DCCC Chair Sean Patrick Maloney released the following statement on Rep. Vicente Gonzalez’s victory in TX-34:
“Vicente Gonzalez has worked tirelessly to protect veterans, improve health care for seniors, and create jobs and economic opportunity for families in the Rio Grande Valley. South Texans know he’s a champion for working families, and they know he’ll be a strong voice for them in Washington. The DCCC is proud to have played a role in helping to elect Vicente to another term in Congress, and we extend a warm congratulations to him on his victory.”
The DCCC invested more than $2.1 million to keep this seat blue and send Rep. Vicente Gonzalez back to Congress, including investments in an organizing program, radio ads, and TV ads in English and Spanish.
