In response to Trump rubberstamp Ryan Mackenzie – who is stuck at 40% in the polls and now projected to lose his reelection – sinking to pathetic and embarrassing new lows by attacking 20-year Bethlethem firefighter Bob Brooks with blatant lies, DCCC Spokesman Eli Cousin issued the following statement:
“Bob Brooks served his community honorably for 20 years as a Bethlehem firefighter and 30 years as a youth baseball coach. Unlike Ryan Mackenzie, Bob is not a career politician – he’s a regular, hardworking Pennsylvanian who is stepping up to serve his community because he’s fed up with a broken Washington that has left too many people behind. Mackenzie is disparaging Bob with blatantly false attacks because he can’t defend his own record and knows that his own campaign is on life support.
“Mackenzie’s allies lit $1.7 million on fire in a failed attempt to meddle against Bob in the primary, and when that didn’t work, they were caught again when a judge removed a fake third party candidate from the ballot. Mackenzie has run one of the most disgusting and pathetic campaigns in the entire country, and it matches his disgusting and pathetic voting record in Washington which has sent costs soaring. He will be rejected at the ballot box in November.”
