Today, DCCC Communications Director Courtney Rice issued the following statement after the Supreme Court rejected the challenge to Mifepristone, the safe, effective medication abortion drug:
“Today, the Supreme Court rejected a dangerous, politically-motivated attack against Mifepristone that sought to undermine access to essential reproductive care. House Republicans have continually pushed these same efforts in Congress, and Democrats will reclaim the House in November to enshrine the protections of Roe v. Wade once and for all, ensuring every woman in every state has access to essential reproductive care.”
