| In response to Speaker of the House Mike Johnson campaigning alongside vulnerable Republicans Rob Wittman and Jen Kiggans on the eve of Election Day, DCCC Spokesman Eli Cousin issued the following statement:
“Jen Kiggans’ and Rob Wittman’s decision to appear with Speaker Johnson on election eve is a reminder that they are rubberstamps for their party bosses and have both voted with Donald Trump 100% of the time. Their closing message to voters is more of the same.
“A vote for Kiggans and Wittman is a vote for higher costs, devastating health care cuts, more corruption, and a reckless foreign war. A vote for Elaine Luria and Shannon Taylor is a vote for change. It’s that simple.” |
