| Today, the DCCC released the following statement from DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene after the Supreme Court’s decision to preserve women’s access to the abortion medication mifepristone as the court appeals process continues:
“While today is a victory for women across the country, our reproductive freedoms remain under relentless attack from House Republicans – whether it be their urging the Supreme Court to uphold the ruling that sought to strip access to mifepristone or the scores of Republicans who stayed silent and refused to condemn yet another attack on bodily autonomy. It is clear that no matter how unpopular their extreme anti-choice positions may be, Republicans will not stop until they ban abortion nationwide. The stakes for 2024 couldn’t be clearer.” |
