DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene released the following statement as voters turned out to reject Republicans’ failed agenda and supported Democrats’ message of lowering costs, protecting health care, and ensuring free and fair elections:
“America’s voters stood up and sent a strong message that they are tired of Republicans’ broken promises. Voters overwhelmingly rejected the reckless Republican agenda that is causing grocery, health care, and utility costs to skyrocket.
“Voters in Virginia and New Jersey have shown they are ready to reject the Republican vision that puts the wealthy and well-connected over everyday families.
“Tonight’s results are as clear a sign as ever that Democrats are poised to take back the People’s House next year.”
