| Following reporting confirming that a Florida judge has issued a restraining order against Cory Mills finding “[Mills’s ex-girlfriend] is a victim of dating violence and/or [she] has reasonable cause to believe she is in imminent danger of becoming the victim of an act of dating violence,” DCCC spokesperson Madison Andrus released the following statement:
“This latest development in the Cory Mills saga is particularly distressing and horrific. A court has now found that Mills engaged in domestic violence, and continues to be a serious threat to his ex-girlfriend while sitting on two of the most consequential committees in the House. The people of Florida’s 7th Congressional District deserve better and will elect a real leader next November.” |
