Today, DCCC Communications Director Courtney Rice issued the following statement on the two-year anniversary of the May 2nd leak of the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision that overturned Roe v. Wade:
“Two years after the Dobbs leak that ultimately led to the disastrous Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade – decimating fundamental rights and freedoms – millions of women and families across our nation are enduring the terrible, dangerous consequences from this egregious decision.”
“Over the last two years, House Republicans have continued to chip away at reproductive freedom in a march toward their ultimate goal: banning abortion nationwide. Reproductive rights will be on the ballot in November – and when Democrats take back the House, those rights will once and for all be protected, everywhere.”
